DhanChakshu, a product by Just Adbhut, respects your privacy and is designed around a privacy-focused, local-first approach.

This Privacy Policy explains what information DhanChakshu collects, how information is used, where information is processed, and the choices available to you when you use the DhanChakshu website and its credit-card analysis tools.

By using DhanChakshu, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

1. ABOUT DHANCHAKSHU

DhanChakshu is a credit-card comparison and recommendation platform operated by Just Adbhut.

DhanChakshu helps users compare credit cards and estimate which cards may provide better value based on the user's spending patterns, preferences, eligibility information and existing cards.

DhanChakshu is not a bank, lender, credit bureau, card issuer, financial institution or credit-card provider.

2. OUR LOCAL-FIRST APPROACH

The current version of DhanChakshu is designed as a local-first application.

When you use the DhanChakshu analyzer, the financial information you enter is processed in your browser using the DhanChakshu recommendation engine.

The current V1 implementation does not require you to create an account or provide bank-login credentials.

DhanChakshu does not currently operate a server-side database that stores your analyzer inputs or recommendation results.

Your financial inputs may be temporarily stored in your browser's local storage so that the analyzer can maintain your inputs during your use of the website.

This browser storage is controlled by your device and browser.

3. INFORMATION YOU MAY PROVIDE

Depending on how you use DhanChakshu, you may voluntarily enter information such as:

  • Approximate spending amounts
  • Spending categories
  • Spending frequency
  • Payment preferences
  • Credit-card preferences
  • Existing credit cards
  • Eligibility-related information requested by the analyzer

You should not enter bank passwords, internet-banking credentials, card PINs, CVVs, OTPs or other authentication credentials into DhanChakshu.

DhanChakshu does not require such information for its credit-card analysis.

4. HOW YOUR ANALYZER INFORMATION IS USED

The information you enter into the analyzer is used to:

  • Calculate estimated rewards and benefits
  • Account for applicable fees, surcharges and taxes
  • Evaluate spending-category compatibility
  • Evaluate eligibility-related factors
  • Calculate a DhanChakshu Score and/or DhanChakshu Match
  • Compare cards
  • Optimize the use of existing cards
  • Evaluate eligible two-card combinations where applicable
  • Explain the factors behind a recommendation

The current V1 analyzer performs these calculations in your browser.

5. WE DO NOT CURRENTLY SELL OR SHARE YOUR FINANCIAL PROFILE

DhanChakshu does not currently sell your analyzer inputs or financial profile to advertisers, banks or card issuers.

The current V1 architecture does not transmit your analyzer inputs to a DhanChakshu server for storage or recommendation processing.

When you choose to visit an issuer, partner or other third-party website through a link on DhanChakshu, that third party may collect information according to its own privacy policy and terms.

You should review the relevant third party's privacy policy before submitting information to that website.

6. LOCAL STORAGE

DhanChakshu may use your browser's localStorage to temporarily retain analyzer inputs.

This can include information such as:

  • Spending categories
  • Spending amounts
  • Preferences
  • Existing-card selections
  • Other inputs necessary to restore your analyzer state

DhanChakshu does not currently store the calculated results in a server-side database.

You can generally clear locally stored website data through your browser settings.

Clearing browser data may remove information retained locally by DhanChakshu.

7. COOKIES AND TRACKING

The current V1 implementation does not intentionally use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral tracking to build a financial profile of users.

DhanChakshu uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate website and product usage. Analytics is configured so that DhanChakshu does not intentionally send analyzer inputs, spending amounts, existing-card selections, recommendation results, or other financial-profile information to analytics events.

Technical infrastructure and analytics providers may nevertheless process limited technical information such as IP addresses, IP-derived location, browser information, request information or system configuration as part of operating their services.

Such processing may be subject to the policies of the relevant infrastructure provider.

8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND AFFILIATE PARTNERS

DhanChakshu may provide links to banks, credit-card issuers, affiliate partners and other third-party websites.

These links may generate a commission or other commercial benefit for Just Adbhut if you subsequently complete an eligible action.

Affiliate relationships do not determine DhanChakshu Score, DhanChakshu Match or the recommendation outcome.

When you leave DhanChakshu and visit a third-party website, that website's own privacy policy and terms apply.

DhanChakshu is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

9. INFORMATION WE DO NOT ASK YOU TO PROVIDE

DhanChakshu does not require:

  • Bank account passwords
  • Internet-banking credentials
  • Credit-card PINs
  • CVVs
  • OTPs
  • UPI PINs
  • Bank login credentials

Do not submit such information through the DhanChakshu website.

10. CHILDREN

DhanChakshu is intended for adults who are legally capable of applying for and using financial products.

DhanChakshu does not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

11. DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable measures appropriate to the current architecture of the DhanChakshu website to protect information and maintain the security of our service.

However, no website, device, browser, network or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own device and browser.

12. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal data associated with your use of DhanChakshu.

These may include rights to request information about processing, correction or deletion where applicable, and other rights provided by applicable data-protection law.

Because the current analyzer is primarily local-first and does not maintain a server-side account containing your financial profile, some requests may not involve information held by DhanChakshu.

14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

DhanChakshu may rely on third-party infrastructure, hosting, domain, security or other technical service providers to operate the website.

Those providers may process limited technical information required to provide their services.

DhanChakshu does not authorize such providers to use your analyzer information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide to DhanChakshu, subject to their applicable terms and legal requirements.

15. FUTURE PRODUCT FEATURES

The current V1 does not provide user accounts, cloud-saved analyses, server-side saved profiles, public result-sharing links or similar account-based features.

If these features are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy may be updated to explain the associated data processing before or when those features become available, as required by applicable law.

16. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the DhanChakshu service, applicable law or our privacy practices.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
